Blue Bear Roofing and Construction was founded in 2023 but the story starts well before that. Juan Sr. has been installing roofs in New Mexico since 1999. Juan Sr. started the way most people do in construction, doing labor and gradually learning everything from the ground up. After 25+ years of working on thousands of roofs he has seen what holds up in this climate and what does not. That knowledge is the foundation every Blue Bear roof is built on.
Juan's sons, Juan Jr. and Alexis, worked alongside him in roofing and construction since they were teenagers. That experience is how Juan Jr. earned his New Mexico contractor's license and how we developed a deep understanding of what makes a roof last in this climate.
Alexis holds an FAA Part 107 drone license and brings a strong eye for photography and documentation. Early on we started capturing daily aerial progress photos during installations and sending them to customers. The response was immediate. Our customers genuinely valued being able to see their roof from above as it came together. So, we made it standard on every job.
